Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate who will plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the construction, renovation or refurbishment of multi-family, commercial, and healthcare facilities. This person will participate in the conceptual development of capital construction and related projects, and will oversee their organization, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and completion. Some duties will include to plan, schedule, and supervise construction activities to meet project deadlines, quality standards, safety and code requirements; prepare and submit budget estimates, project schedules, progress reports, and project cost reports; oversee projects to monitor compliance with building, life safety codes, fire codes, and any other regulations from the AHJ (authority having jurisdiction); negotiate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers in order to obtain acceptable pricing based on the project’s required set of criteria; prepare contractual agreements with architects, engineers, designers, consultants, suppliers and contractors; facilitate the process of obtaining all necessary permits or licenses for projects; directly supervise vendors, contractors, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Business, Management, Real Estate Development, Engineering, Architectural Design, Building Construction or equivalent, at least two years of project management experience, and at least two years of experience in commercial construction, multi-family renovations, or healthcare facilities project management.
